Pictures of Rico!!!

Here are some pictures of Rico! He's a 3-month old Abmilobe panther that we got from Lance here on CF. He's the star of a father-son project I stated with my 11-year old for his 11th birthday. He is the ruler of his domain and could rightly be called "King Rico"!

When Rico arrived he was going through a shed so he looked ghost white.

Once he decided to come out of the bag he shot straight up the branches.

Rico's setup - Zilla Fresh Air cage, some silk vines, five live plants, lots of branches, 24" hood, ReptiSun 5.0 linear flouresent light, two 60 watt bulbs

Rico slept well on his first night - long trip and day for him!

Rico spotted the camera!

It's cricket-eatin' time! NONE shall be spared!

Congrats on Rico! I recently purchased my cham from Lance, a really stand up guy who I plan on doing more business with in the future. Who is the sire of Rico? My baby, Ponch, is sired by Lucifer. I plan on purchasing an Amaze Jr Jr female for breeding purposes. I'll be posting pics of Ponch here shortly but again, congrats on a beautiful cham!

Thanks, David. Rico was sired by Lucifer as well so Ponch and him are brothers! I can't say enough about Lance either, he was easy to work with and was tremendously helpful. Rico is our first chameleon so I wanted to be sure to go with a breeder who I felt we could trust and who has a good reputation and Lance definitely met that criteria. Plus, Lucifer has awesome colors so we're hopeful Rico will also have great colors when he gets older.

Will look forward to seeing pictures of Ponch. I'll add yo as a friend as well.

Incidentally, what is an Amaze Jr Jr?

Haven't been online in a couple days but wanted thank everyone for the comments and feedback! Also, I want to thank the members of CF for all the great information and support of new owners as it really helps ensure we're getting our new family members off to a great start; we couldn't have done it without CF and, in hindsight, the thought of relying on someone at one of the chain pet stores for information and avice makes me cringe!

Thanks, Lance! Rico's doing great and for some reason I'm already pretty sure he won't be the last cham we bring into our home!
