So how do you guys keep hibiscus plants alive. I have about a 4 foot hibiscus for my adult cage and after cleaning the roots and repottin it, it looks a little down. just saggy leaves. Its kinda perking up but is my reptisun bulb really enough for photosynthesis to go on and keep it alive?

can i get some tips on keeping it healthy and perky for my panther

-thanks jared:D

I had the same problems with my plants. No matter what I did (elevation, airflow, drainage), my plants still suffered from overwatering. Chameleon cages require very high amounts of water that can end up killing/weakening plants. I decided to try an experiment with plant soils, because I found from research that soil is one of the most important elements to keeping plants alive. Check out my blog for all the details https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/cushcameleon/131-custom-plant-soils.html. I now have no problems with keeping plants from being overwatered.

I like to think I have a green thumb, and Mine still carked it! Best bet, buy another and keep switching, one in the cage, one outside, week to week.
