Bill makes some good points..nothing seems to have been found that is toxic enough to kill a chameleon….not all plants are necessarily poison to all chameleons…it may depend on the species of chameleon…
Love it. Not a veiled keeper so things have been easy for me as far as plants go.
The plant in question Stephanotis floribunda is a wonderful plant for decor or for chameleon.
Semi succulent leaves like a Hoya lovely blooms like jasmine it's a total package.
I worry less about them eating plants and more about things like the sap from plants such as the ficus benjamina having glue like sticky sap when leaves and branches get broken. My panther is by no means gentle on his plants and vines and could easily see his smearing that irritant on his skin or worse in his eyes.
I got some sap from a plant in my eye a few years ago landscaping (even with glasses on) and was in the hospital for several hours getting my eye irrigated it was a miserable process and very painful. Last thing I want for my chameleon
