The horse hair pottery are beautiful!! I could happily have one of those in my home. The skulls are pretty in a strange sort of way. Not something that would ever fit in my home. lol Where are the moose? You create beauty, I admire that.

you better bring your fire proof panties when you come :p YOU are going to make a horse hair pot while you are here :D - its only 1,800 degrees we will be playing with ;) its no fun if someone does not get at least a 2nd degree burn  :p

Wow the horsehair pottery is beautiful. I really like the shaped nature aesthetic and subtlety of shape. Well done!

I can see where the skulls would be popular, they are also obviously well made.

never known anyone who did Raku with skulls before! do you do any vases or other things using Raku ? Do you combine the two, raku and horse hair? I've got a lovely bowl that was Raku with horsehail and feathers, its iridescent with the black streaks

I do :D we are a "modern" studio - we don't play by the rules :p , I also do snake skin pottery, feather, and I just made this- it is the skin of Capone's shed - its a pendent- but the little bumps did not show well, so I will try again with chameleon skin shed  I know I can get it right, its just a matter of time ;) ( but it hard to get a big enough skin to work with from the chams ) the first are the snake skin, its done pretty much the same as horse hair , the last is the cham skin , you can kinda see his little bumps in the center- the skin is from this post- I just had to wait for it to fall off- :p

* it did not help that I only had a tiny bit to work with - I put it on my coffee table, and the stupid dog ate the bigger shed =( LOL
