PLEASE HELP! Any info appriciated!

Hi!

My little guy has something going on with his head. I believe it is new from today (I don't remember seeing it yesterday). Anyways, it looks like something is definitely going on with it. It almost looks like the skin has been bruised or something, and a little part was cut? Has anyone seen this happen to their cham??

Hello!

Thank you so much for your responses! I think he fell onto a light on my nightstand when I wasn't looking. His basking light has always been in the same location for 2 years with no incidence. Its about a foot up from his basking spot. I have put some polysporin on the spot on his head (without the pain additive). Do you think it is adequate to do that? I just started yesterday, so I haven't seen any really improvement quite yet.

It scared me so much to see his head like that! I love the little monster and I had never seen anything like that before.

Thank you so much again for your input. His attitude seems perfectly normal, he is eating and drinking all doing all of his usual chameleon things.

Look like he could have burned his cask. How close to his basking light is the branch he basks on?
