I Just Recently Got A Rainbow Panther Chameleon, For His Lighting I Have A Uvb 10.0 Light And Im Using A 100 Watt Ceramic Heat Bulb For His Heat, Should I Have Any Other Light For Him, And Does The Ceramic Bulb Work Just As Good As One Of The Red Heat Lamps???

First question, how big is your cage, depending on the size the 10.0 may be too much.
Second, is the UVB bulb a tube or a compact bulb?

The ceramic heat bulb is typically considered a bad choice because it dries things up so much.
To replace it I would recomend a normal house hold bulb, 75-100 watt usually works out well.

how would that heat the cage to 80 degrees??? i use a infared heat bulb for my veiled and she does well with that, thought id try the ceramic cause it last longer.....the cage right now is 18w/18l/32h

ceramic heaters and red heat bulbs are not for chameleons (in my opinion) any and all should be removed.
Regular 25 to 40 watt household bulb for basking spot ( check temps and adjust accordingly)
No heat at night.
60 to 65 degrees f. is a fine night time temp for a Veiled or Panther

so i just put a 40 watt bulb over the basking spot and that will keep the cage warm enough??? how warm should the basking spot be and how warm should the rest of the cage be? is 10.0 uvb good? and is there any other lights i should have ??? my uvb is a 26 watt coil light ina reflector outlet...any other tips ? thankls alot guys!!!

I prefer the Zoomed Repti-sun 5.0 fluorescent tube.
There is too much controversy/possible danger associated with the compact (coil) fluorescents right now for me to feel at all comfortable with them.

I would think for a Panther: 80 to 85 basking spot, 72 ambient (mid-cage)
and 65 at night would be ideal
You don't want it to be the same temperature in the whole enclosure.
As you go lower in the cage so should the temp.
