I'm not sure what this white stuff on my chameleons face is. He hasn't been eating recently and this was smaller at first.

I have never actually seen this myself, but I have read in other posts that chameleons can discharge salts as a white substance from their nostrils. I think that may be what you are seeing.

yes, that is all it is, and it should come right off. If he will let you, you can take a wet qtip and remove it.

Thank y'all so much. I think that is what it is. I feel much better. Does that also result in not eating as much?
