My cham just pooped for the first time in a few days. I just found she left this massive dump. Has anyone had this issue? her food intake went way down which i thought was a because of her being close to a shed(still finishing up the shed). Any feed back would be great
Cage Info:
- Your Chameleon - female ambilobe panther, about 7-8 months old. got her when she was around a month old from lllreptile.
- Handling - once a week
- Feeding - crickets, super worms, and occasional wax worms. Usually eats 10 or so crickets every other day. Gut loading with kale, mustard greens, and some dry cricket food. Calcum w/o d3 every day, multivitamin and calc with d3 once every 2 weeks.
- Supplements - I use zoomed calc w/o d3, every other week with d3, and their multivitamen everyother week,
- Watering - mist by hand, 3-4 times a day for about 1 minute or until cage is thoroughly sprayed. I see my cham drink all the time.
- Fecal Description - was pooping everyday no problem until about 5 days ago i noticed she stopped. Produced a very large poop this morning. Urate was decently orange, usually is very white.
- History - Have not had any problem so far until now, been in my care since july, so about 6 months. Laying bin is in cage with washed play sand.
Cage Info:
- Cage Type - reptibreeze 24x24x48
- Lighting - uvb cfl, basking lamp, and a grow lamb for plants
- Temperature - basking- 85, bottom of the cage is 65
- Humidity - humidity is usually60-80% by hand misting
- Plants - ubmrella plant and
- Placement - in my room, not really a high traffic area, not near fans. 48 to the top of the cage
- Location - located in south ohio, USA
