portable Reverse Osmosis filter setups

Looks very useful. Kinda is expensive (for me) but in the long run I know it's cheaper than buying water.

Thanks for heads up.

Hi all,

I found this in the RealGoods treehugger products catalog. It might be very useful for cham keepers interested in trying a Reverse Osmosis filter for their domestic water. The setup has two options...one for countertop use and one that you could move from place to place. No plumbing connections needed and not too expensive.

Very nice, I may have to get one of these. I don't even drink nearly enough water myself because it almost tastes like I'm drinking from a swimming pool.

It doesn't require a plumbing install which is really nice. I have an under sink RO system and LOVE the water. Have used it for all my herps, birds, plants, and drinking for many years. My well water is full of iron, tannins, and very hard, so it runs through a salt-based softener too.

That's really expensive for a single membrane unit. I have one that can be permanent mounted or used on a tap when needed with 4 stage rodi. It was $100. I use it for my reef tank and chameleon.
