My Nosy Be (I think...) just finished another shed and is really starting to show some nice blues. I always love it when you see them starting to shed, it's like Christmas waiting to see what's hiding in the wrapping paper lol. Anywho I was able to get him and my other two panther kids outside this weekend to soak up some natural sun and thought I would share some pictures.

Here he is mid-shed:



And here he is exploring one of the bushes in the front yard:









He's around 10 months old, 12" long, and 100g as of this weekend. He also has a great personality and so far is my only cham that will actually come running out of his cage to climb on me lol.

Thanks guys He's had the teal color for a while now but the blue barring is new as of this last shed. I think he really liked getting out of the house and exploring that bush. I was trying not to make any "I'm the king of the world" comments lol.

Thanks and feel free to steal the idea, I think I got the idea from another member as well lol. I picked up a 1/2" dowel at Home Depot and started making marks with a sharpie every inch but it didn't look too good so I used some small zip ties to make the marks stand out better and look a little cleaner.

Beautiful pics of a beautiful cham! though I am not a specialist, but he does look more Ambanja to me than Nosy Be

and he is veeery good looking, I kinda envy you I must say, a blue cham is on my closest to-get list, but that's not until I get a job

Thanks, I love all of the blues that he's developing. You could be right, I've seen a few Ambanja's that look similar to Poseidon but he looks more similar to the Nosy Be's that I have seen so that's what I usually call him. Unfortunately I bought him from a site sponsor (that will remain nameless) at the last Saramento Reptile Show who sold him as a BB Ambilobe female lol. I tried to contact them later on once he started coloring up but they insisted he was an Ambilobe as labeled and just wasn't showing normal Ambilobe coloring yet, so I'll likely never know for sure what his actual locale is. That's fine by me though, I love his personality and coloring and couldn't be happier with him lol.

Thanks and please do, they work great. Especially if you get some of the colored zip ties that stand out really well on the wood dowel.

Always great to see another cham owner in my area too BTW.
