Potting soil help!

I recently bought a new chameleon and I wanted to add a live plant to his cage. I bought a schefflera arboricola for him. I'm just nervous about the dirt that came in the pot. I cant seem to figure out what type of soil I should use, I was going to try eco earth but it has no nutrients in the soil, I found Miracle Grow organic choice but the bag says it has fertilizer, but I put a small hole in the bag and it just looks like normal black dirt..
Please send links of dirt that I could use in the plant!! thanks !

Just plain old organic potting compost, no fertilisers.
Then cover the soil with large rocks so your Cham can't eat it.

HomeDepot. $1.96. Organic Topsoil. White bag with red and black lettering on it. Just ask them, it is foolproof.

I just got a bag of organic soil from Home Depot over the weekend. Its in an orange bag. It says organic on it so you can't miss it. If you can't find it, just ask.

What I got comes in a orange bag. Its by a company called Vigoro. Pretty much every company that makes potting soil has an organic soil. We are in entirely different regions of the country so Im pretty sure what I have and what you will have will be different. Any organic soil should work, I would just get one that is for Potted plants and not one that is specific for In ground plants. The easiest way to do it would be go to any store that sells plants, Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace Hardware, or even Walmart and just ask someone for Organic potting soil if you can't find it by yourself.
