hello, today and tonight we are a lot of snow and high winds and I am super scared about if we loose power. Do u have any ideas for me? Should I bring him downstairs and sit in front of a fire? I'm not to sure

I wouldn't worry until if and when you lose power. Putting him in front of the fire could be risky, harder to control his temperature, he may get over heated, plus the smoke and smell from the burning wood could be hard on his respiratory tract. I would do it only as a last resort.

What if I were to just bring him into that room? Not necessarily put Him In frot of the fire but in that room. I have an extra glass cage I can bring downstairs and have him sit in for the time being. I guess I can do that if we loose power.

by a power backup unit for computers and plug the chameleon stuff into it

or get a whole house generator as i did

I wouldn't worry until it got down to low 40s. That is the temperature it can go down to in their native habitat. You could bring his whole cage down to the warmer room, but I wouldn't unless I had to. A lot of work for you and added stress for him for little or no benefit. You can always do it later.
