Is there something like this for reptile use? Or at least more general use? Maybe not something SO high end and expensive.

I did find a little power strip that has a digital timer built in, but only 4 of the outlets are programmable. The other 4 are just always on.

i use the Rzilla one. i just plug in power strips into the outlets and connect the other lights i need on a timer. it is pretty wasteful to have the other outlets not usable but i didn't know that before i bought it. i'd love to see what others are using.

Yeah, they have some very nice units for reef tanks, but I can see where at least a simpler option would be very beneficial in Cham tanks. You got your mister that needs to come on every few hours, lights that change and so on. I searched around for a bit and other then the Rzilla unit I didn't find anything else.

i almost thought about just getting a single digital timer and plug that into the wall and then just plug in power strips w/ surge protection on them to the digital timer. heck of a lot cheaper than that rzilla thing...that's for sure.

Well can get the Rzilla for like 20 bucks if you look hard enough. The problem with the single timer is that I want to control multiple things at different times. I want to have a sunrise, mid-day, dusk, and night time setup since my fixture has the setup for it. Then I'll need to control my mister as well which the Rzilla can do.
