My panther is a really picky eater so I would like to try praying mantids. Unfortunately, rainbowmealworms.com stopped carrying them and now I can't find them anywhere. Where is a good place to get them?

You can easily get them off ebay, but mantids are a chore to rear. You can't keep them in the same cage, they are cannibalistic, they need to be fed fruit flies on a regular basis. They eventually need to be upgraded to either crickets if they'll eat them, or larger flies. They aren't for the faint of heart.

You can also get a Mantid egg sack off of Amazon, or Josh's Frogs website carries them as well.

Josh's Frogs. You can't beat their prices. Mantis aren't to bad. Feeding them flies and crickets isn't hard. Especially being you probably have one of the two on hand.
