hey does any 1 have a praying mantis if so what do they eat and what type of cage can you keep them in

When Chameleonnews comes back up there is an article there about Mantids. Also Wild Eyes Reptiles, the guys that have the WER gutload (I think there is a link to their site on the main page) has a very extensive page on care for mantids.

I got 2 pray mantis pods at green thumb for like $5. They are so cool, I have a pest free garden with out chemicals now. Its also fun to feed them tiny crickets once and a while.

Ive had a couple, I just keep them in huge plastic boxes with twigs and leaves, they get some of the same bugs my chameleon gets(crickets, wax and butterworms)
