Praying Mantis

I've actually hatched Mantid eggs before and it's pretty easy. However I didn't have Camo (my veiled) at the time so I've never used them as feeders. I purchased two egg cases from a local nursery and it took about a month for the first one to hatch and the second one hatched within a few days of the first. When these guys hatch, they are HUNGRY so have some flightless fruit flies on hand. Also each egg case can carry anywhere from 60-200 eggs. So plan on spending a bit to feed these guys. I had to let more than half go as it was getting kind of pricy. Hope this helps!
