Plant and inorganic matter are ingested by C. chameleon (Burmeister, 1989), C. namaquensis (Burrage, 1973) and ni C. pardalis, 30% of the diet are vegetables (Bourgat, 1972). We presume that plant material is a regular dietary component of C. africanus.”…
