proper feeding questions

Every day I feed about 10 crickets with calcium W/o D3 but the cham only eats about 5-6 seeing as the rest fall/climb to the bottom never to be seen by the cham is this a proper feeding regiment??
Also what can I do to prevent all of these crickets being wasted and just falling to their eventual deaths??

Well if you see live cricket just take it out and feed your cham next time.
Do you have feeding cup? That's better for big cages! I use feeding cup and only 1-2 cricket escapes a week.
The dead crickets just go in the garbage....

How old is the cham and what type? If he is only eating 5-6 each day then just give him that many instead of 10.
