Pygmy Eye Problem

Just joined the site, it looks great with a lot of useful information. I have read through some of the posts regarding eye problems, but I can't seem to find a post with the same eye issue, so here's my question...

I just got my pygmy about a month ago. She is in a ten gallon aquarium, with a 2.0 light on her for 4 - 6 hours per day. I mist her regularly. She is shedding for the first time!

I noticed that one of her eyes is not alert like the other one. It has been this way for a week, perhaps more. I thought it was normal or would go away, but it hasn't. It seems slightly sunken in, but not too bad. There is no bulge or discharge. The eye is a different color than the other one, like there is something covering it and it is not open as wide. I don't think she can see out of it because when I move my finger around, she doesn't register seeing it, like she does with the other eye. I rinsed it out and used a wet q-tip, but it doesn't have seemed to have done anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be?

I will try to get some pics if I can...

OMG...that was the neatest thing - I went to take a pic of Punky's eye as soon as I submitted the post....this was about 20 minutes after rinsing her eye and it appears as though her eye is now shedding the skin around it and her eye is moving underneath! I am hoping this may solve the problem, but I would still like some feedback on what this could be or how to solve the problem if the shedding doesn't work.

I can't post pics unfortunately because I can't get a clear shot of her.

Maybe I was seeing what I wanted to see, as there is no change since her shedding around her eye...any ideas?
