Im not sure which to get. I like both Pygmies are so cute but Trues like Veilds are soo cool. Which should I get; got any pics that could help me make my decision? THanks

depends on what kinda of car you want to provide, and how much you want to interact

veileds are more on the pet side, pigs are more on the sit back and watch side. IMO

are you planning on breeding at any time?
pigs are a great starter for those new to breeding, you can responsibly have a group in a large enough enclosure, that will breed for you and you can ( is care is right) even let the pigs lay the eggs inside the enclosure and do nothing but keep up the good care.

veields are much more of a process, much more involved, ect.... as far as breeding goes

All chameleons (in my opinion) are on the "sit back and watch side."
My feeling is that you have a lot of research to do between today and the day you acquire a chameleon.
These are extremely specific, high maintenance animals and bringing one into your home requires a lot of thought and planning.
Anything you know about other reptiles does not apply.
Chameleon husbandry has it's own set of rules.
They are much more like parrots than lizards and require your care multiple times per day, every day.

I agree completely... Brad I really like that comparison to Parrots, Really is closer to that than say my beardies or snakes.

The other thing about Pygmy chams for beginners is that because of their size and level of activity, it's harder to detect when anything is going wrong with them.

A Veiled cham is a far better cham for a beginner to learn from. And trust me, there is a LOT to learn. As Brad mentioned, try to do as much research as possible before getting any cham.

I will Im just getting suggestions now. So True Chams are better than Pigs. We were thinking of getting pigs sine they are smaller.

Which True Chams have the eaisest care requirements? I owuld like one that doesnt mind being handled like once a week type of a thing, I wouldnt hold it that much.

Veileds have the reputation for "easiest" (not truly easy though). Read Brad's site. Everything you need to know is their
