Question about Banana Roaches

Can they walk up the plastic in the cricket bins?

They are small right now and still brown. No green ones yet. I know they fly.

Yes they are excellent climbers.

Petroleum jelly. Make a two inch bar of it about an inch down on the inside of the plastic. They will not be able to climb through it. ( I think, can someone tell me ?! )

3" postage tape and olive oil works for me.

Do a little night time survey. Sneak up on them with a flashlight and you should see their night time climbing activity.

Just checked and so far so good. They are still at bottom but def more active.

I put the petroleum jelly for now. They did not like the flashlight too much. lol.

I fed a couple nymphs to my female she loved em. They are not crawling up the sides yet.
