Question about Large Hissing cockroaches?

So i ordered 6 large hissing cockroaches last night and they arrived just now but after looking at them i think that theyre not safe to eat. They look like theyre too big to eat, both of my chams are adults now but these things are huge. Roaches are about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inch wide. 1st time buying roaches and they coast me $2 each :-/ but dont wanna risk anything jeopardizing my chams health. My question is it normal for them to eat this size roaches???? TY.

From what I have read, and am not sure why anyone would want to, people keep these things as pets! You should not feed your cham anything that is bigger than the space between their eyes. I agree that they would probably be too big for your cham. I keep Dubias and the adults of these bugs are too big for my boys, but my beardie can chow down on them with no problem.

Wow! Those sound like big, not to mention SCARY cockroaches. I'd go with the smaller variety of roaches, dubias

Hissers are good pets. They can even recognize their owners.
