Short answer, No.
Also these urges you refer to, I think it's safe to say based on most animals, they have only the most basic of instincts. I highly doubt they have the urge to mate because "it feels good" most likely their goal is to pro-create. I would even warrant a guess to say that it is likely that a male that has never been bred will probably outlive one that has.
The whole process of mating is stressful on both the male and female involved. Sure the male doesn't have to produce eggs etc, but their basic wild instincts would make them think of protecting their territory, fighting off other males (although they're aren't any) and mating as many females as possible when the time allows. Many males, in my experience also reduce the amount of food they consume during this time as their primary focus becomes mating.
All of these factors lead me to believe they would live a shorter life than a male that didn't go through a mating season. But, I can only speculate and could be far off in my reasoning...
