Ok so I've had this pygmy chameleon for 3 weeks now, been doing fine, seen it eat, seen it drink, etc. etc.
The only thing I can't figure out is what the gender is. I've consulted multiple sites including this one and mine looks like an intermediate, sort of as if it had a gender change. The bumps aren't real defined, but the tail looks longer than normal. It's also hard for me to look at mine underneath because it sits on a real wobbly plant, so trying to move it onto my hand makes like an earthquake. Is there like a territorial thing with males in particular because mine always goes back to the same plant to sleep or any other way to tell by behavior?
I'll put some pics up once I can get good quality ones.
Also it tends to change color, but not necessarily when it changes position. Every time it goes to sleep, it changes to the light tan color with an almost white tummy. Then when it wakes up, it starts changing colors, gets darker, a little dark green, black spots, but not because it moves anywhere new. Anyone else have something like this?
