I am a new owner of a one month old, baby veiled chameleon!

I love him to bits even though I've only had him a week, they're amazing animals/pets!

I was wondering, how much he should be handled? I do not want to stress him out so I am going to try not to handle him too often. As you're all experts with chams, I hope you can help!

For now, let him/her be in the cage. Let them get setteled in. Then you can handle it for short periods of time. Slow movements, and don't grab then. Allow them to walk on you freely.

Agreed with the poster above. Although, I let them get used to their home for the first few weeks afterwards I try and handle them about 1-3 times a week for 15 minutes. That way they don't become too aggressive.
