as the title states....what could i use that can be bought at walmart? I'm feeling a little like i want to use a glue gun

In case you are clueless I'm talking about the screen that one uses to "ventilate" bulk cricket and dubia roach keepers

Or Lowes. Any Hardware Store should have it. Down here you can find mostly the same stuff in every Hardware Store

awe cmon guys walmarts open 24/7 :(

Lowes and menards close in 15 minutes and i wont have time tmw or next week since break is over.

Lol, they might have it. If you went there and they didn't have it, then it would be a waste of time.

some home depot & lowes are open until 11:00pm. just ask for window screen and have it cut to size. or go to walmart craft section and get plastic canvas. it comes in 8x12" squares (approximately) might melt if you use a glue gun, but you can also get glue dots that are nice and quick ;) I use it to winterize cages with vinyl then take it off as needed. very handy. you should find them in craft section, too

Since crickets seems to be able to chew reptarium..
I wonder if they can chew their way out of plastic canvas...
Any escapees or holes, lele?

Thank you everyone! That is all i needed!

Escapees wont be a problem, I'm switching over to roaches completely. Besides, they will be kept in a outdoor closet that is attached to my apartment and has the same temperature.

I might use that for my cage that I'm building. Thanks!!

i don't think you want to use plastic canvas for chameleon's cage :D
It will be like a white box with tiny holes in it.
I use it to cover my plants soil to prevent my cham from eating dirts.

It'll be too hard to see your cham if you use plastic canvas.

From my experience the only time i've had crickets chew through reptarium is if they have something to work against while chewing. For example the plastic pipes in the reptarium (PVC).... For my chameleon enclosure i built it out of 4 screen doors so it's 6'7X 3ft X 3ft. The screen it's made with is a fiberglass bugproof screen. It's not so bugproof however if you have something leaning up against the screen. My cage is in my messy room and i had a towel laying up against the cage and crickets chewed a couple of small holes where the towel was. If there's nothing in contact with the screen they weren't able to chew through it... Interesting i may try an experiment to test my theory sometime when i'm bored haha.
