Looking for advice on a good schedule for a baby panther. I will only have the raindome no dripper or mister. I love in southeast texas so it is pretty humid here.
I would recommend one long run in the morning (5 minutes or greater) and then shorter runs ever two or three hours (30 seconds to 2 minutes). Exact times vary on your specific setup, but you should ensure things dry out between mistings. It is usually best to stop misting a few hours before the lights go out so things don't stay damp overnight. You should also have a real plant such as pothos or schefflera under the rain dome so that drops will collect on the leaves.
It is good to have at least one long session since they can take a while to start to drink. It seems like they usually like to drink soon after waking up so that is why I would recommend the longest in the morning.
