You put a chameleon in a screen cage and provide it with its requirements, basic needs, plus more. We have all tried as novices at one point to provide extra care with good intentions (waterfalls, ceramic heat emitters, floor substrates, etc.); We've come to learn that simplicity is more efficient in husbandry and health care techniques. With all of this responsibility we have all chosen as a hobby, passion, curiosity, or whatever your motives are for caring for chameleons. Out of nowhere, I started to wonder if chameleons get bored just being in that cage the whole day (on occasion having a shower, or basking in real sunlight on one of my ficus plants outdoors). I mean, when you look at them, you admire their color and the way they eat and the way their whole structure was formed. But, to them, I wonder what they think just sitting there when they don't eat or drink just basking underneath the basking lamp we provide for them. anyway, i'm at work and i needed something to pass up the time. haha. good day everybody.
