Our male Veiled a lil Fired Up!!! When he gets his routine shower he displays these unique colors and gets pissy!!!

What do you guys think? Hows he look? He is alos finishing shedding!!

He's a good looking boy. I just don't like seeing them upset. Why do you give routine showers? Has he been dehydrated or on an antibiotic or something? If you mist regular and have a dripper he shouldn't have to have a shower unless he's sick.

I shower my veiled a few times a week, she doesn't like it either but the little bit of stress hasn't hurt her and never hurt any other chameleon I've had. its very dry here so l like to make sure she gets the humidity she needs.

Maybe try an actual plant, I rotate mine so my plants are getting a good water and their leaves cleaned. Shark seems less upset if she can go under leaves when she wants to.

We give him a routine shower cuz he usally gets a lil bit of stuck shed....we have him in a 4' high by 2' wide by 2' wide cage. he has a dripper and we mist 3 to 5 times a day! He just gets pissy (As he looks in is pic) when we get ready to move him back to his cage cuz he likes the shower (humidity). He is not sick, eats regularly and we dust his dubia like we should... we also give him a variety, hornworms and super worms!
