realy mad cham!! ???

so im guessing that when ur cham (veiled) is realy pissed of they show all sorts of wonderfull colors !!! i just moved mine to his new home n bot did he have some colors for me ! is this normal ???

I believe it's normal especially after moving him into a new environment, just give him a few days to get use to his new home and I'm sure he'll be fine

Dont forget, veileds and panthers are known for their infamous "suicide drop" when scared.
They appear to turn different color if they are affraid for their life, or if they are p.o'd

When they suspect a preditor is lurking about, they freeze and stand still. If preditor gets too close for comfort, they simply fall from whatever they are clinging too and run like hell when they land (if still alive that is!!).

We call it the "suicide Drop"! LOL

wow that is crazy!! do they get hurt when they do this? do they actually fall at all? buddy seems to get himself in some very strange sleeping positions and im always surprised thru the night he dont just fall off! i have to check on him atleast 3-5 times thru the night. Its silly!!
