Relaxing in the sun(flowers) *pic heavy*

Well i had this vase full of sunflowers next to reptars cage today and when i left it open for light cleaning/filling his food cup and he saw the sunflowers and made a maaad dash out of his cage where he just perched on the sunflowers for a good 30 minutes happy as a prince. I got some decent shots. My lens is killing me right now though.

Chams and their reaction to color are funny....my youngest loves yellow and when he free ranges he makes a beeline anything yellow. I will have to get some sunflowers for him to climb on

The flowers were close enough to the open door the ge could just reach the closest flower and take a leap of faith.

Excellent shots! What type of camera do you use?

its a D300s with a an AF VR 80-800 f/4.5-5.6D lens. I shot these from 6-9" ft away and they came out perfect. I just use the auto settings. Im sure if i would have gone MF and played with everything a bit i would have gotten sharper images but i was worried about how long he was going to sit there till i had to run over and catch him lol
