Repashy super foods plus??

When I bought my cham 2 weeks ago I was told this Repashy super foods plus(posted pictures)was all I needed and to dust EVERYDAY with it. After all my reading on here and seeing others have sick chams due to supplements and vitamins not being utilized correctly I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. After all, this is my first cham. Can somebody help me out please? I have to go get more crickets tonight after work and I'm planning on getting whatever else I need at the time. Thanks a bunch, and by the way my cham is a 3 month old male veiled. I have everything else down just need help with all the supplements.

I use the same product. I dust every feeding and sometimes every night other. Just use a pinch of it every time you use it. Don't over do it. Dust lightly. Great product !

try both ways of using it, you can mold it to a gel or sprinkle it on the feeders food. both work well but for me since the weather is starting to change a bit i am sprinkling the powder on the feeders gut load. the crickets are all over it

Suppliments need to be dusted on to the feeders, not fed to them. This product is a suppliment not a gutload.

You are using it with only a veiled right? No other reptiles? No other species of chameleons?
you're correct, sorry I use the Supper gut load and the repashy bug burger. those you can sprinkle or form into a gel.

Then using it every day should be fine. Though I don't feel there would be a need with it with a varied diet and a good gutload.

What could I feed for a varied diet and good gut load? Right now I do crickets dusted daily and a few hornworms throughout the week. I gut load my crickets with mustard greens, and fruits(mango, strawberries, oranges etc.)right now.

You should do more greens than fruits usually, I use anything from zucchini and summer/winter squashes. Sweet potatoes, tuscan and dino kale, dandelion greens, radichio, herbs are good (basil and parsley), mulberry leaves, oranges every now and then, mango, papaya, figs, I do strawberry tops, carrot greens, turnip greens, beet greens, bananas (only a few times a month), rasberrries, blackberries, cactus. The huge things is having tons of variety. Carrots are good every now and then. I pretty much use them as garbage disposals, so if I am cutting the ends off things I feed it to them. If I have a watermelon rind I will cut it usually in smaller pieces and save up especially if it's summer when we have it more often because it's a great water source. But never feed too much watermelon at once it can really soak them too much. But they often eat the entire rind. Celery tops are great too.

For a more varied diet look into black soldier fly larvae/flies, super worms, captive isopod colonies, roaches if you can get them, silkworms, stick insects, blue bottle flies for fun, butterflies like painted ladies, wax worms make good snacks for a couple times a month ( you can also let them turn into moths for a good hunt). That should get you started <3

Wow!! That's alot of good stuff, thank you. Quick question though, this is what I give my crickets. Is this what you can directly feed my cham? And if so how do i feed it? my guy still runs evrytime I open the cage so I can't handle feed yet.

There are certain things out of that list you can feed your cham. Directly feeding chameleons citrus is bad, I don't think figs would be a good idea because of the huge amount of seeds in them. Otherwise you can try everything else I think except the watermelon rind, they usually do better with a little bit of red the part. For squash or sweet potato of any sort with the chams, either do shavings or steam it a bit. You won't always be super successful with veggies/fruit. Some chams take to certain ones better than others. Usually cup feeding with some of his favorite insects on top will get him to grab it when he's grabbing the insect and sometimes after trying it they will realize, hey this isn't so bad, and start eating it on his own.
