repashys bug burger??

Hey all, I have 2 panthers. A 3 month old female that I've had for a month and a 6 month old male that just came in last week. I dust with exo Terra calcium every other day and + d3 once a week aswell as repcal herptivite every other week. I gut load with kale, carrots flukers high calcium cricket diet and high calcium quencher daily. I'm curious what you guys think about repashys bug burger?? Do any of you use it?? If so, is it any good?? If I were to use it should I continue to dust or would it be vitamin overkill?? Any other suggested products or supplements would also be appreciated. Thanks, NHCF.

I use Bug Burger all the time, and I love it! I make a bunch ahead of time and freeze it. Keep supplementing your feeders with calcium WITHOUT d3 at every feeding, and calcium WITH d3 twice a month. You want to use a multivitamin twice a month as well, but on opposite weeks of the d3 calcium.

bug burger would be an improvement over your current gutload - the flukers stuff is crap

even better would be a good selection of fresh produce, seeds, nuts, alfalfa, etc with bug burger

It is good stuff and my bugs seem to enjoy it. Apart from them writing me notes thanking me for it, they also eat it before everything else. I do agree that you should still feed them fresh fruits and veggies as well.

I actually use the bug burger, some of my own dry gutload (from sandrachameleons blog!) as well as fresh fruits and veggies for my crickets. Definitely don't rely on JUST the bug burger.

I really like the bug burger! It eliminates the need for a water source if you are using a dry gut load. Instead of adding water, I puree a variety of fruits and veggies and put that in. The bugs love it!

Like other have said, the Flukers stuff will keep the crickets alive, but it will do nothing for the health of the cham. That said, it's good that you are adding fruits and veggies to their diet.

You can get a 16oz bag of Bug Burger on Amazon for less than $20 and it will last you a long time!

Thanks to all who replied. I'm ordering the bug burger from Amazon tomorrow and tossing out the Flukers. I will continue with the kale and carrots and add other types of produce aswell. Also, while the flukers products may be crappy, how are their crickets? I was considering ordering a 1000 from Fluker Farms. I've read their reviews and the majority are positive but I figured that this forum would know best. Also, are the little bugs that come mixed in with a large shipment of crickets safe for my chameleons?? Thanks again, NHCF.

My bugs seem to like it as a dry powder. Didn't seem to eat it when made into cubes.

I feed my crickets lettuce carrots & citrus, Carrots are good but not all the time.
I was told that carrots contain a substance that actually slows down the calcium breakdown of the cham. Just recently found this out i switched my carrots out & put in oranges and the crickets loved it.
