Repeat matings

Hi,

Haven't posted in a while. I have a pair of Oustalet's together in a large cage. They are getting along well, as I am trying to breed them. Just have to remove female to feed, as she is a piggy!!!
They have been together about 2 months and have seen breeding last week (once) and this week (twice)-as I am on vacation and see them more.
She is not showing any gravid coloration or indicating that she doesn't want the male either. Last night she was basking on top of him and he didn't seem to care!!! I am waiting for the female to show me something, so that I can remove her.
I have some eggs laid in March from her, but don't know if they are fertile. They are still white but there could still be nothing inside.
Has anyone experienced this? I thought after 1 or 2 matings, that the female shows aggression towards the male.
Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I would think that 3 matings is enought to do the trick and I would seperate them. One member here that I know of keeps his male and female panther together on a large free range all the time. Personally I would be afraid that my males would mate the females to death or they would fight and the male hurt the female. I have never left a male with a female when I was not near by watching.
