repti glo question

Is there anything wrong with the repti glo linear uvb 5.0 bulb? I once told someone I had one and they told me to get rid of it and get another one. I got the other bulb, but why do I need to get rid of it? Is it harmful? or simply not as good as others?

They are not harmful... just... not as good.

You want to buy the Zoo Med brand of linear tube. The 5.0 has been found to produce a higher D3 processing abuilty index.
