I was thinking of putting something on the back of my reptibreeze to stop marking my wall when misting, what do you advise ? I was thinking just some plastoc or polly covering the whole back but worried it may melt from the heat dome on top
my brother uses a thick shower curtain tacked to the wall and flaps the bottom into a rubber maid bin, he never gets water on the wall or floor. everything just drips into the bin and he just empties it every couple of days or so and he has a mist king. it also helps to have a bin that is bigger than the enclosure under it or get a refrigerator drain pan with a bulkhead in the bottom to flap the curtain into so it will drain into a home depot bucket.
I went to ACE Hardware and had them cut a piece of plexiglass that fit the back perfectly. I put it on the inside of the cage (this was before I put the cage together, so it made instal easier). I hot glued all the edges to the cage to keep it in place and so there are no cracks/space for water or crickets to get behind it. I then put this fencing over it.
