Reptifogger with my Jackson's Xantho

Last week I purchased a small reptifogger for my cham enclosure and it seems to freak out the little guy a bit. I've had him for almost 8 weeks but he's almost 6 inches in body length without the tail so I'm guessing he's close to a year old? He NEVER left his plants before and now he is moving around on the cage screen, bottom of the enclosure, etc. - generally trying to avoid the fog entering his enclosure. Maybe it's that he's just getting more active, but I don't want to get him overly stressed and trying to avoid the part of the cage being fogged. I generally run it during the day, along with manual spray of his enclosure at least twice a day, maybe a third smaller misting.

He is eating well, hunting - generally seems in fine shape but wonder if anyone else had any issues with a fogger. BTW - I live in Phoenix AZ, so I purchased the fogger so I could keep up the humidity in his cage given how dry it is here. It seems to be doing the job very well but he seems to be avoiding it if he can.

Also, can you overcrowd a cham enclosure with TOO many plants/vines? Wondering what the general consensus is on that topic.

Thanks for your help in advance...Newbie here to the forum and to chams, but I enjoy the little dinosaur and want to take good care of him.

It might be that he needs some time to get used to it ..hydration is a must so as long as you leave the other side of the cage warmer and dryer he will have an option to both sides. Is he a Jacksonii JJ or a Xanth? As for too many plants and vines - a lot is good as long as he has space to move around in ..its best moderate between two sides ex.left side with lots of foliage and humid ...right side with less foliage and more vines and a warmer and drier ambient . In that case your cahm can choose to stay where he is comfortable.
My cham for example likes the fogger in the morning and spends most of his day basking
