Reptile expo

i went to the reptile expo by my house and it was so sad. Some people know what they are but there are some that i was completely disgusted with. Especially with the chameleons

Other than their dark colors, I'm not sure I see the problem? Most breeders ship their chameleons in 'deli' cups.

The carpet chameleons eyes were closed and sunken. The veiled were all crammed inside of the cup

The carpet looks a few days away from death and the deli cups are not ideal. Many people will preach that it's just expo conditions but the expos I've been to - all the chameleons are always housed in screen cages with plants or glass exo terras.

Ooh, after zooming in I see what you mean. Also, the veiled next to the one in your picture has wonky looking limbs. People suck..

Unfortunately, you see some pretty despicable things in the name of greed in the pet industry.

I’m going next month and I’m thinking of picking up a day gecko or another chameleon.
