Good morning All!

I recently purchased a ReptiRain. It makes a humming sound when it starts to produce mist. Is this normal or should it be silent? Thank you in advance.

Mine hums...or at least makes a motor sound when it's pumping. I'm pretty sure my chameleon now anticipates this sound

I'm sure they feel a vibration as far as hearing they can't hear so wouldn' be an issue

Your ReptiRain mists the cage during the night? I would change that so it’s only misting the day. Damp and dark are how you will get mold in the cage

Thank you! I mistakenly forgot to shut it off before bed last night because I purchased it yesterday. I am going to purchase a timer and shut it off manually until the timer comes in.

Okk. Yea mine is on a timer it turns on 5 times a day for 3-5 minutes. Just want to make sure the cage is drying completely in between misting sessions
