Reptisun 5.0 bulb question

Hey guys i was going to get a reptisun 5.0 uvb bulb and i was wondering, how far away should i have it from the top of my cage, or should i just put it right on top of my cage. Thanks

I have mines on top of my cage.

Right on top as the UVB only reaches 12 inches
