Road trip with my Female Panther

Hey guys, I am going to be traveling to visit some family for around 10 days or so. I spoke with the guy at the local reptile shop and he said he did not recommend taking her with me as she might get stressed, and he brought up that they offer boarding services for $8 per day. I started thinking maybe he just wanted to make that extra $80 and made that recommendation for that reason alone. I did a little research, and it seems like some people do travel with their Chams, but I want to be sure she would be ok. I would love to bring her with me, but I want to make sure she wouldnt get too stressed out during the car ride. I know they are shipped from various online breeders, so I am thinking just bringing her with me in a dark box so she isnt stressed would work fine, but I wanted to get your opinions first. The car ride is about 9.5 hours long. Thanks everyone!

I will be bringing her cage along with me so that she will have it when we get there, I just don't feel comfortable leaving her in the cage while in the car.

I would recommend taking her some short rides a few times to see how she likes it. I ride my guys all the time and they like it but if you have a chameleon that's scared then I wouldn't recommend that long in a car.
