Safe paints

As I mentioned the other day I am rebuilding my chameleon cage and want to find a safe clear or colour paint brand I can use to protect the wood (obviously non toxic) any ideas ?

Anything from UK would be amazing, any brands anything would help but yeah preferably from the UK

Checking Amazon UK, I don’t see Flex Seal or any other brand that I’m familiar with that would be safe. However, using a paint or sealer that is safe for aquariums and fish should be good. When I haven’t been sure how much time is appropriate, I err on the side of caution and leave my items in a well ventilated area (preferably outside) for a week or two.
