Been researching how to set up for a chameleon (thinking Jackson's)
If I understand it right what makes some plants not safe is that chameleons some times eat the leaves or at least might eat part of a leave?
I have looked at several list & haven't seen these two plants anywhere, rex begonia (it will vine) & a tropical bush called glory bush or Tibouchina lepidota is full size but found a dwarf Tib. urvilleana that needs less light & smaller of course. Also a couple people ask on the plant database thread if bromeliads are safe & no one said one way or another. All most forgot, what about rabbit foot fern? Does anyone know if these plants are safe?
I've just about finished my paludarium & recently added some anoles & love the little guys. That pretty much gave me the bug to have a real chameleon. Here it is, I'm very proud of it.
A little has changed/been added but gives you the idea. Here's the build thread if your into DIY. http://www.dendroboard.com/forum/me.../133898-jims-display-paludarium-my-first.html
Thanks
Jim
