Safe plants

Ok so I'm finally getting my mistking and along with it I'm finally putting in live plants. I got a big pothos plant that I'm going to clone and have several and also a ficus tree. My question is I've seen everyone talk about pothos and ficus being safe for chams but I don't see either of them on the "safe list" so any feedback will be greatly appreciated. I'm an all natural organic kinda person so everything is in quarantine and showering the plants daily to remove any pesticides or artificial fertilizer

Pothos and ficus are both safe plants and should be on the safe plant list.

Does anyone know if Citrofortunella Calamondin is safe? I have one in my room that my chameleon is forever trying to get to but I don;t let him, can;t find online if it's okay or not. I know it's not harmful to humans as it's used in medicine and culinary, but I dont know if it could be an irritant?

im pretty sure pothos is really good for all chameleons especially veileds... they can eat the leaf which is nutritious for them and can grow around the vines as well!

both are on the list one is listed as golden pothos or devils ivy or somthing like that, and ficus is on it as well, as far as pesticides on the plants just scrub your plants leafs gently with a sponge and water

post a picture, google it if it says its toxic then don't use it, generally plants with reds are toxic.

Mines doesnt have fruit though (same plant mines just never re-grew the fruit). Its completely harmless to humans like I said it's used fr cooking and in medicines, I just can;t find anything regarding chameleons for it

If you google chameleon safe plant list there are different websites that list all the safe plants. The trick is finding some those plants in your area. But for the most part you can find at least a pothos or ficus just about anywhere I'm loving having the plants for the chameleons so now I'm working on covering my house in plants!!

Ok, Thanks Jac, I try this way I am also loving plants. Can you tell me which plants you use for covering your house in plants? I also use many different tricks for finding this type of safe plants but I am not getting much better which I want.

I have several pothos plants hanging around with lots of vines to give the chams a bit of free range exercise. Also several ficus trees, a dracena plant, and an umbrella plant. Next spring I want to build an outdoor vivarium for them to enjoy, but for now they'll just have to run around inside during a Pennsylvania winter lol
