Hello, Have a year old male Panther chameleon and my question is on using a normal 2700k compact fluorescent grow light to help plant growth indoors. I know I have herd using compact fluorescent UVB bulb can harm them, but I can't find any info on staying away from normal compact fluorescent for extra light. I've read some use t12 fluorescent plant and aquarium bulbs, but I'd rather the smaller dome fixture and CFL. I recently put a hibiscus in my enclosure and would like to see it get some more light than the reptisun 5, and a basking bulb, which is not very close to it. Any info or experience would be appreciated. Thanks.
