Just wondered what everyone's process for sanitizing new decor that you put in your cages? And for the cage itself.

I have a 5 gallon bucket (any hardware store for $2) that I use to soak fake vines, branches etc in. Usually I'll use a bit of bleach and water and let it sit for 5-10 mins. Then I rinse the vines well and let them soak in a clean bucket of only water (sometimes I'll add some dish soap as well if it's really grimy). Then rinse and let dry.
For cages I'll spray with a watered down bleach solution and let it sit for 10-15 and then very thoroughly rinse with hot water.
If using bleach, make sure to wash it off very well and be sure the scent of it is gone when putting the cham back.
