Scabs? Any info would be appreciated

My chameleon just started shedding for the second time since i have had him. He is a little over a month old. On the top of his back there is cracked skin. Its not the normal loss of skin. They look like sores, and have began to develop scabs. Will he be ok or is there a big problem?

What you are describing sounds very much like a burn and not a shed.
