In my brief attempt at building my own cages, I blew several hundred dollars on materials I haven't touched in the past 2 years... If anyone is inspired to build their own cages, I have lots of black aluminum screen left that is brand new. I have a box of 100' x 24" black screen (unopened) as well as another roll I used roughly 10' of (I built 1 small cage with it, so around 90 feet left) also 24" wide. This is the same aluminum screen that is on many of the cages you buy, and at this width, can make any cage size up to 2x2 footprint (the 24" width will work to build a 2x2x4 cage). Won't rust, etc. I paid $55 for each of these rolls, and will consider reasonable offers. I don't need it, but I'm not going to sell it for $20 (I'll use it eventually, even if not for 10 years). I also have miles of the spline for cages (I'll have to check how much, but I have 2 big rolls) as well as many of the corners and other misc parts for screen cages. Anyone interested, shoot me an e-mail at [email protected]. Just trying to clean the garage again.....
