Second Day; feeding

It only second day of having Namul. I have problems with locust in my mom garden. I catch some for my turtles and 4 more for Namul. Namul saw me putting in the bugs. He was prey motivated. I watch him position himself to catch one. But missed twice. He’s resting and waiting for better opportunity to aim.

Mine at directly out of the cup he came in, a few hours after unboxing, then didnt eat for two days.

I woke up to find these two locus near to him. I have put 5. I put a large size one and I don’t see it. I don’t see the other two small locus. I wonder if he ate them too?

Oh man he is on them! Love the pic. I like to let them hunt instead of strickly cup fed. I think it keeps them sharper and in better shape. Thats just my opinion though.

With Locust, I wouldn’t mind them crawling in the cage. But they crickets and grubs will be fed in a cup.

Just a video of him in the act of catching. He’s definitely camera shy, so I backed off to let him resume to eating. I should have just saved one clip and record the whole week instead of one act of the time of him catching prey.
