On May 22nd, I discovered both sporulated and unsporulated Isospora in my ambilobe chameleon's fecal sample. For treatment, I used Toltrazuril, administering three separate doses over a three-month period. Prior to each new dose, I ran a fecal sample to monitor progress.
Attached are micrographs for anyone interested. By the end of the third dose, I observed no Isospora cells. Additionally, I noticed a decline in sporulated Isospora towards the end of the treatment. Throughout the process, I thoroughly cleaned the enclosure—steam cleaning it between fecal smears and spot cleaning with F10 veterinary disinfectant.
